The Illiana Bourbon Society respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your data from our App and systems.
Upon a verified deletion request, we will remove the following data associated with your account:
✓ Your name and nickname
✓ Your email address and phone number
✓ Your whiskey ratings and tasting notes
✓ Your message board posts and replies
✓ Any other personal information you provided
Some data may be retained after a deletion request in the following circumstances:
• Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you
• Data required to be retained under applicable law
• Data necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements
Any retained data will no longer be associated with your personal identity.
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your verified request.
