This Privacy Policy describes how the Illiana Bourbon Society ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Personal Information: Name, nickname, email address, and phone number provided voluntarily when joining as a member.
User-Generated Content: Whiskey ratings, tasting notes, comments, and message board posts submitted through the App.
Usage Data: General information about how you interact with the App, such as screens visited and features used.
We use the information collected to operate and improve the App, display member ratings and tasting history, facilitate communication among club members, and respond to support requests.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access.
This App is intended for users who are 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 21. If we become aware that a user is under 21, we will take steps to remove their information promptly.
Guest users who submit ratings through the App provide only a name and rating score. Guest submissions are reviewed by administrators before being published. We do not collect additional personal information from guest users.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To submit a data deletion request, please visit our Data Deletion page or contact us directly at illianabourbonsociety@gmail.com.
We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Some data may be retained as required by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes.
Our App uses the following third-party services:
Supabase — database and backend services. Subject to Supabase's privacy policy.
Expo / EAS — app distribution and over-the-air updates.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
